Tried the chateaubriand at Bo'Vine, Meats and Wines last night. The meat was cooked exactly as ordered and out waiter, James, could not have been better.
We opted for garlic butter sauce and paid the extra tenner to make it surf n turf. We got two small scallops and two small prawns for that which was perhaps a bit pricey.
The fillet was nice and tender and the garlic butter worked well with it. I would normally go for ribeye or Cote de Boeuf due to these cuts having much more flavour but it was the chateaubriand through the Groupon deal.
Glad we went and we both enjoyed it - as I said great cookery of the meat and great service! 😊
